Episode 004 of our CELTS Language Weeks podcast is all about food for you and your students when in Edinburgh and further afield in Scotland.

Where will you and your students eat whilst you are here?
What types of food are available?
Where can you go to buy food, including Scottish specialities?

And, of course, how we at CoolScot Tours can help you with this.

We will discuss food at host families, bed and breakfasts (B&B’s), youth hostels, supermarkets and fast food outlets.

You want to know what you and your students might eat at breakfast, lunch and dinner?
What type of meals do many Scottish families choose to serve?
What common misunderstanding often occurs, in connection with evening meals, between your students and Scottish host families?
What are some examples of Scottish food specialities?

Then you’re in the right place!

In the podcast, we omitted to talk about people who have special dietary requirements (e.g. coeliac, lactose intolerant) – sorry about that. As long as we have advance notice of special requirements, then we will ensure your student stays with a host family who will cater for this.
